When Betaflight won't arm, you can't fly. And that stinks. I'll show you how to troubleshoot Betaflight's Arming Prevention Status Flags so you can get back into the air.

This entire series is available as a playlist so you can find the specific reason your betaflight won't arm. Get the playlist here:

Building a new drone and finally found what I was looking for to fix my problem in your 5 year old video! You do amazing work and are my go-to resource for all things drone related. Thank you!

Joshua Bardwell, you are amazing. I had this exact issue, never heard of it before, I knew you did these videos, searched, and in just a few minutes, you had the answer, I fixed it, and it armed!!! Friggin awesome!! I watch your videos all the time, so thanks for all you do for the community, it would not be the same without you!!! Not flattery, TRUTH!!!! Best Regards, Bobby Rogers

The most important part of this video is at the end! Very important life lesson. If your "Marraige Loop Frequecy" gets too low bad things will happen! Take your wife on a date even if you been married 20 years! Let her know she is still as important as FPV or your FPV days may be numbered. Remember: a happy wife...is a happy life.
Great video JB.

That's really interesting! Thanks a lot! 😊
BTW, JB, is there anyway to make the OSD more visible? It's being white against a pretty clear background is making my life harder. 😕

Hello Joshuam I found your wonderful channel !!! Congratulations. If you can help me, please. I'm trying a few days to arm my drone, but my lack of experience in the subject is hehehe weighing, I have a ts215 eachine, a tanarisQx7 radio I'm using the Bfly10.4.0 and the controller and OmnibuF4 and the batteries are S4 tattu 1550-75c.
I create the ARM lever, set the ARM lever, test on the Bfly check the plane in the drone, set the maps. At Bfly he responds, I unplug him and try to arm him and nothing. I've already seen your tutorial a few times, and I'm already lost in everything I've done. Do you have a program that verifies the error or causes of not being armed? From now on I thank you because your channel already helps me in more things ... hugs !!

Hi, I had a CPU overload after flashing the ESC of my small quad with Blujay. Then had to reduce the pid loop at 4khz. Should I have to come back to Blheli S ?

JB got a question. I bought and built a 5" race quad. Everyone seems to recommend 4S around 1500-1800 mAh.?? I got a half dozen 4S 2200 mAH. Besides weight, any reason why not to fly these.?? They're normally used in my motion RC EDF'S..

Hello Joshua I had, in the beginning, random arming success later I let the arming errors display in my osd. It was saying Yaw up and Pitch up I tried to increase the dead band center stick and calibrated the controller and in Beta flight again. Now it arms always but sometimes I see the messages in the display again. Is my logic the right one assuming it is because is glitching or is the sticks are not centered always at the same position. I have a qx7 Default gimbals.

I learned that if I need to watch a playlist of videos about why Betaflight won't arm, I'll just stick with KISS lol.

I spent all my money on a holybro stack, was running 32/32, it lasted 5 flights, then burned to the ground. Could this have been the problem?

Does the F7 really make a big difference over the F4 in real life flight characteristics?

So just built my first little quad and I can't get any video signal past like 20 ft :(. Any ideas? I'm matching channels on my vtx and goggles, got the exact same polarization on the antennae... Upped the power output on my vtx to the max (600) and still I have like 0 range :( any ideas? Thanks

Alright, I've either got a real stumper for you, or you'll know what it is right off rip.
SPC Maker C120 that I put a HAK RC 20 amp blheli_S 4-in-1 ESC in. It's running a set of Spintech 1106 8000kv motors. A XM+, Micro Monster Pro, & a OG Emax BabyHawk's VTX (from the FPV Cam/VTX AIO it came with). And I've had two FCs installed in the past week, and both FCs had the same issue when I went to do the first powered up tests. Neither responded whatsoever. Neither to batt. voltage, or USB voltage. And though I have yet to be able to test the 2nd of the two FCs, the first (once I had it all the way disconnected and removed from the build) is now responding to input Voltage as expected. (The 1st being a old Flycolor F3 20x20mm, the 2nd and yet un-retested is a HAK RC FOR Nano I think it's called (another 20x20mm). Although I haven't tested it post removal, I have a nagging suspicion that it's going to act the exact same way now as the Flycolor F3 did once removed. Any ideas?

This is a build I was/am trying to put together for my ten-year-old son so he can start learning FPV.
