I'm psyched that ATO is reprinting. I just started picking up boardgames from crowdfunding 2 years ago and was depressed about all of the amazing games I missed. I was NOT going to pay after market prices. Then the publishers all started hitting these crazy reprints, haha. Goodbye money but hello a decade worth of gameplay.

Retail sounds good especially after being taken hostage by Mythic for 6 - siege(If they are being truthful now, they should make this a pre-order invoice(pro-forma) refundable less x% if it does not go into production. A consumer transaction governed by consumer law and not a contribution which likely means they are not being honest)
Sadly AD1492 is not UK friendly but Harakiri Blades of Honor has late pledges open until 30th May, similar and maybe better as well as being UK friendly.
Your thoughts on AD1492 vs Harakiri gameplay etc?

Lucky Duck has several outstanding products Divinus, The Dark Quarter, Destinies: Witchwood…..is it too much to ask that a company delivers the games first before they start another crowdfunding campaign? Lucky Duck does stellar games and I’m sure if they deliver the upcoming Godsgrave, it will be awesome. However, I see it with Petersen games, Ludus Magnus games, Mythic games and others. In good faith, I can’t back a campaign unless they make good on their others. I’m not saying Lucky Duck is doing this, but it has the appearance of one campaign to fund another which seems very Ponzi-scheme-esque.

Thanks for the overview. Almost every one of these look interesting but just not for me. I have too many other games that approximate the experience these new ones seek to give us. Besides, prices will be killer. There is one game though...Into the Godsgrave - 'card driven' gameplay might turn me off but otherwise this is the closest to getting me to back of all of these games. I have faith in Lucky Duck.

I was very interested in "Into the Godsgrave", but after the 9 months delay announcement for "The Dark Quarter" and considering the other campaigns of theirs suffering from massive delays, I refuse to support a company with such misaligned priorities.

By Lucky Duck's own words, they extremely misjudged the work and dimensions of "Into the Godsgrave" but still feel confident to start a new project. This just makes no sense and smells of a company in desperate need to generate new revenue.

I already have 2 outstanding games with Lucky Duck Games. Divinity and the new expansion to Destinies. This also goes for Steamforged Games. I spent way too much on Elden Ring, so wont be backing Monster Hunter World either. Not that i think they are or will be like Mythic Games, but I've vowed to not back multiple games from the same publisher anymore.

One game you should look at is Demon Ship by Malev and Black Site Studios. Its for preorder now. You play on a 6" x 6" board. The terrain pieces change for each room you enter. And you play as a lone surviving crewmember that needs to survive demonic creatures. The objective is to navigate the ship to restore power to the ship, engage emergency protocols, and escape the ship before the demons kill you. My only gripe is that it seems a little expensive. But the old lasercut MDF pieces were magnetized. I believe the plastic pieces will be too. But you can also buy STLs and print it yourself, too. Check it out here if it sounds interesting. (Im not affiliated, just a fan.)
