I was using China Southern Ailrlines from New York to Jakarta in business class last time. Its a old style configuration for business class. However surprisingly the service and cabin crew was pretty nice. The food is great and I like it pretty much. Recommended to use this airlines again.

Just 1 row for First Class seems very exclusive! Wish they did it in a 1-1-1 configuration though. Most business class seats already have 1-2-1. I also wonder why they don’t provide pajamas?

I have flown F class on Xiamen several times and it is a 788. They do not allow staffi n F class after takeoff unlike CZ who allow staff to upgrade incl FAs who change clothes and the Air Marshall also uses the spare seats.

Hi Josh. Yes we took advantage of a crash hot deal a few years ago and did this on the 787 AKL to AMS when they first introduced this aircraft. It was back then cheaper than EK CX QF Business so we tried it. Agree seat very good also service. Downside was food and IFE disappointing when you are in the air 24 hours. Was good value at the time though. Overall I personally would prefer J class on CX

China southern’s beef meatball is the most famous airline food in China, and only business class and first class have it on menu. Sometimes business class only have it within other dishes. China southern doesn’t really have luxurious food for first class, but first class do have more choices and more goodies.
