Rupert Grint on Keeping in Touch with Harry Potter Cast

Rupert Grint chats with ET's Ash Crossan about how he embraces the 'Harry Potter' fandom more than 10 years after the final film. Rupert reveals that he keeps in touch with his castmates and praises Daniel Radcliffe's acting chops. Plus, the actor opens up about his new film, 'Knock at the Cabin,' in theaters on Feb. 3.

Ron was my favorite character in the books, and even after filmmakers robbed him and gave almost all of his lines to Hermione, Rupert did a great job and made Ron very charming, cute and relatable character. Love him❤

I met him almost a year ago! Since he was filming with M. Night Shyamalan who lives near me and films his movies near me, I was in Norristown at the zoo for a volunteer job for my school, and all of a sudden Rupert was there at the right place at the right time with his gf and their baby. I was so starstruck, but I kept myself restrained and poised, and he was so kind and polite. And he let us take a picture together and then before he left he said “It was nice meeting you.” God it was a day I’ll never forget. It felt so weird seeing him in the flesh since I grew up seeing him on my TV screen.

I love Rupert Grant ♥️ Harry Potter is my favorite. I grew up watching it and I’m almost 30 and still watch it and listen to the audio book and read the books. Just this morning I saw a young girl wearing a hufflepuff scarf and I love seeing that because it’s such a wonderful series that it’s still capturing young hearts to this day!
