Police say the death toll has risen to 151 as rescuers search for more people buried by landslides in southern India.
Several rescue agencies, including the Indian Army, Fire force, and NDRF intensified their rescue operations on Wednesday to trace people suspected to be trapped after massive landslides hit Kerala’s Wayanad district.

The Army is working in close coordination with the NDRF and other agencies to carry out rescue operations in the affected areas.
