A masterpiece of a great 80โ€™ tune and in reflection of whatโ€™s happening in the Lebanon today.

Was in the Marines our ship docked in Marseille, France 1985. Took a three day trip by train to Paris. We ended up at the largest disco I've ever seen(it had two levels that looked down onto the dance floor), they had a huge video screen that I remember this video playing. Good times.

Every time Joanne flairs her eyes in this video when she sings "Is where the snipers sometimes hide" I need to take a cold shower!

The Human League were not really my thing, but I think this was one of their better songs. I like the guitar, which is very "U2'ish" and the bass intro. Yet another video that looks and sounds better than the official video, though I will pay credit that theirs looks pretty good (but not as good as mine :) ) As always, PLEASE comment, like and share my videos otherwise they just do not get seen. Why watch poor quality videos when you can watch my remasters instead ? And don't forget to watch my 4K Remaster Playlist - great for a party or a Saturday night at home

This single and the truly superb LP "Dare" are the bare essentials to own if you care about quality pop. Great remastering job here! Thanks.

Great remaster - the video is really clear ๐Ÿ˜Š IDK what I like better about this clip: Phil Oakey's mullet (several years ahead of the other band members ๐Ÿ˜…) or the Simple Minds/U2-style guitar.

Jo Callis of the Human League/Rezillos wrote the anti-war geopolitical songs like The Lebanon and Heart Like a Wheel (along with Eugene Reynolds of The Rezillos/Revillos)

Given the quality of this video, was the source material, the original nineteen eighty-four (1984) 'video', shot on thirty-five millimetre (35 mm) film?

Let's get to the point ....a political man stated that phil got this song from a news paper clipping ...BUT HE DID NOT โค

Joanne really looked like a model when she was young and slim. So did Susan . SHE still does. But Joanne, though still sexy in her way, looks overblown now she isn't so slender. I suppose time DOES do things to people, in the end!
