Yeah I fell into that scam years ago it's funny the truth is anyone who pays for an extended warranty on a car is a sucker because they never cover anything

I feel for the people that paid for this insurance. But how can anyone make money off of selling insurance for repairs that will inevitably happen as the car gets older.

Id think rather than forcing the client to keep their mouth shut because their hand was forced it would be far better for a company to just publicly apologize after fixing the client's car on top of providing compensation for their troubles then allowing the client to speak about their experience and how the company apologized and fixed the issue.
I mean regardless if the warranty provider did end up paying for the car ill never buy a warranty from them.

If third party (aftermarket) car warranties actually did what they promised they would all go bankrupt, so like social security disability they initially deny all claims; IOW their market plan is over promise and under (or never) deliver. If you really want an extended warranty buy a dealer warranty, but beware many dealers sell third party plans that are worthless. Also Nissan CVT transmissions are the most unreliable in the car world, one reason Nissan sales have tanked worldwide.
