the Ratman's final transmission is his companion cube on the moon.

He planned to escape by portaling to the moon in the room where you find your single portal device in the beginning, you can tell as their is a hole to what looks light the surface, the entire room is sucked in due to pressure and you can see moon phases in all the rat dens. However you can hear his voice in one of the rooms leading one to wonder if he decided not too and went insane in a room.

the sounds that the radio makes can actual be made into a picture of a companion cube on the moon using a certain program, so they were hinting at the end of the game in the first 30 minutes of gameplay.

So, does this mean the Rat Man's dead? That'd mean that the voice you hear in a later den is... His GHOST. So beautifully creepy.

You can do this much easier. Just place a portal on the opposite wall of the ratmans den and the stuff will fly into there automatically. You just have to go into the ratmans den then and automatically get the archievement, because the radio was already thrown inside.

The radio makes a sound that when run through some audio software makes a picture of the companion cube on the moon.
