Landing of the first check flight of A380-841, 9H-GLOBL at Mojave Airport, United States.

After landing from the first Maintenance check flight, Commander Mirpuri commented: it always amazes me how agile this enormous airplane is. I compare it often to the A319, specially in roll rate. Absolute pleasure to hand fly her, its controls are well balanced. We flew her in normal and alternate law. 25 kts gusty crosswinds in Mojave were negotiated without a problem; It’s a pilots dream.

Hi Fly has performed the first check flight of A380-841, 9H-GLOBL at Mojave Air and Space Port, California, United States. The first sortie revealed an excellent aircraft, and more flights will follow.
