60g Imitation crab
2tbsp Oil

1tbsp Sugar
1tbsp Vinegar
1tbsp Soy sauce
120g Water
2tsp Potato starch

We love this! Two small changes: I always cook eggs in olive oil instead of butter; I use cornstarch to thicken the sauce. It is so helpful to find a good use for imitation crab which is high in protein and readily available here. Many thanks!

Delicous, there is a restaurant I got to and they put this on top the rice and I love the gravy sauce and egg, always a treat when I visit my friends!

It's like a variation of okonomiyaki which I make all the time. BTW: what you are calling onions are actually leeks. With that being said I think leeks would be delicious. The sauce is new to me so I will try that. Lovely presentation too. Arrigato!

Imitation crab or kani is a traditional ingredient in Japanese cuisine, used in sushi and in many other recipes such as salads, sandwiches, soups, even in stir fry noodles.

My preference is always the South East Asian Chinese omelette called Crab Foo Yoong or Foo Yoong Hay, with its special gravy.

I`m not sure about the sauce on the egg however as I love eggs I`m g0ing to try it first before I knock it, the Americans like gravy on their egg fu young or omelets however thats not for me, it overpowers the taste of the egg
