We catch several walleye on Wekusko Lake, Manitoba in late July. Classic midsummer program where fish pull over over deeper water and use deep offshore reefs and points. We caught most of the fish in 22-28 feet of water. Fishing with Bryan Bogdan from Wekusko Falls Lodge. Wekusko Falls Lodge is one of our all time favorite fishing camps in Canada.

Drop shotn' is a top notch technique for many species...that doggone leech you have on there is the best lookn' leech plastic I think I've ever seen. I would expect to catch fish with that leech for sure. Cool video for this 57 yr old.

1:41 really something to be said about someone like Jason, laughing loud like a little kid, about a fish. I will never get tired of hearing that. Jason is as good a man, angler, and ambassador of the sport as they come.

Fishing just really getting going great on Devil's Lake then. Summertime is always a better bite in Devil's.

Great video. Wekusko Falls is my favorite destination. For first timers, hire a guide. The lake is a graveyard for props and bottom ends. Tramping is equally good fishing and less danger.
