One year later and the Coolray is now the best-selling crossover in the Philippines. Who who knew that a newcomer would be that successful. It's like when Xiaomi came and took pieces of the Samsung and Huawei pie.

Caco, greetings from Australia. I have to applaud your style of motoring reviews. It's quite refreshing to to see and hear how you'll point out the various features of a vehicle. I concur with you that Chinese vehicles have come a long way from their early beginnings, and it's not hard to note that their standard of refinement is fast snapping at the heels of Japanese and Korean made vehicles, and indeed some European brands as well. But of course the big standout is their pricing, being thousands lower, but still providing lots of high end Tech and safety. Sometime later this year, my wife and I are retiring to the Philippines, and will give owning a Chinese vehicle like the Geely Coolray some serious consideration. That said, I was interested to note that Geely have another variant called the Jiaji, 7 seater, which featured at the 2020 China Auto Show. This vehicle's interior is much the same as the Coolray, but would seem to be more upmarket in regard to interior trim and some other appointments. My question is, have you heard if Geely will also import this variant to the Philippines?. Thanks in advance, cheers...
