How to Reduce the Excel File Size

Have you work with TONS of data and found that you're file size has grown to a point that you can't really share it easily with others? Especially if you want to email it to someone a million row Excel file is going to clog up your inboxes. Well there is a way to reduce the file size without getting those fancy file compressor or zip utilities. It's in Excel itself! I'll show you two ways you can reduce the Excel file size to help share your spreadsheets.

A quick and easy save, not as space saving as your examples however, is to save as a binary file (.xlsb). My type of file useage results in about 40 to 50% reduction.
