This American girl loves village life! I married an Igbo man from IMO STATE: we went to meet his parents in the village and I fell in love! The lush greenery, the fresh air, the food….you are making me miss the village so much! Thank you for sharing 🙏🏾❤️

To successfully Japada, you need passive income in foreign exchange—perhaps a house you are collecting rent on, a pension, your own house in a good area, and the ability to fly out if things get too stressful.

The village roads in Nigeria look just like the roads in the countryside of Jamaica ❤

My Igbo sister as a Yoruba man born here in the U.S many many years ago, I am sure your kids are soaking up the culture. My parents moved us back to Ibadan in 1979 and things were so, much better back then. As a matter of fact, a Dollar to Naira was N0.59 kobo = $1.00 dollar; I wish you and your family all the best and Pray things gets better at home and I am downloading LEMFI 😊

Prices of things are increasing everyday and its getting worse but I still love it in Kenya. I moved from USA last year and I believe this is where I belong. The environment is so beautiful.

I live in England and things are very tough here for many
There is nothing cheap in England, food, fuel, clothing and housing are extortionate
It is common for people to have two jobs and a side hustle
Relatives in Nigeria who continue to demand for money don’t seem to understand that we are struggling here too

Sis, thanks for sharing your experience. I think what you may have observed with Nigerians is not really being empathetic. They are just resigned to fate. And that is a state of hopelessness. That is a state of being defeated. It's a very critical state too. I feel for our people.

I loved the beautiful green scenery behind you. Many are wasting their time in the city, while their family farms lay waste.

And shout out to Kano airport employees for doing their job and not begging for money. The begging attitude is very irritating and pathetic. Thanks for sharing and stay safe.

There is nothing more valuable than telling the absolute truth, not being pretentious.

Being a village boy from rural Ghana, this is the calmness and the environment I miss most…cassava plants, plantain, palm trees and all….I can’t find that here in the States…home will always be home! Nice vlog and thanks for sharing!

These stories are helpful to us who are not returning soon but we are sending money to those who are there. Unfortunately this inflation is paining all of us, even in the UK. So I have to think and think before I will send one kobo.
Lastly we have to be very sensitive to be visiting people up and down. If you don’t bring your own snacks and drink, just stay where you are.
Seeing the village is sweeting me, I look forward to being back one day.

Truly you're really saying the trust. Everything is very expensive here in Nigeria especially Lagos. We are just a family of 3 (Myself, my husband and our 1 year toddler) . I must tell you we spend more than 100k in a month even when our salary is not up to 150k in a month. Omo its really crazy not even now that there's hike the transportation fare. God will see us through

Dyna. I don't watch you often. In fact, l haven't for maybe a couple of years.
But I have to say something. I thoroughly enjoy it whenever I watch your videos! You are one of the best spoken African YouTubers out there! No unnecessary and fake accents, just proper elocution, and an AMAZING enunciation that is neither forced nor faked. Most times I don't even particularly care about the topic, but I'm just lost in your amazing vocal expressions.

Btw. The last video of yours I watched was your first August meeting in your husband's hometown. Looking forward to seeing the video about this year's August meeting. I love August meetings.
Your make-up is absolutely beautiful!

Thank you for sharing and for your honesty. I sense your frustration. I live in Caribbean and the cost of living is crazy.
