Man London is so full of history. To think it’s been around since even before the Roman Empire. London is somewhere I’ve always wanted to go. I’d love to go to Europe mostly around the Mediterranean but I feel like you could just feel the history in the air with cities like London.

Lots of places have bombed out churches never rebuilt. Coventry and Liverpool. Plenty in the countryside just abandoned or half demolished during Henry VIII ths reformation.
One of my favourites is Fountains Abbey in Yorkshire. Lots of castles all over too.
We dont appreciate them as we should.
I hope this channel does a piece on the Tottenham Outrage of 1909. I found out about it by accident reading about the assasination of Ross Mcwhirter in 1975. Then the Balcombe St seige then the seige of Sidney St featuring Winston Churchill which I had heard of.
I am amazed no one has made a movie based on these almost unbelievable events.
🤠👍❤️

Beautiful ruins! But 1100 wasn’t the Anglo-saxon era anymore, it was the norman era (which started in 1066)

Why would Christopher Wren be “notorious“?

There's something mystical about it being engulfed by nature like that

The year 1100 clearly wasn't in the Anglo-Saxon era, that would make it Norman.

Dude, what? Anglo-saxon era? The year 1100 AD is 34 years post conquest. It is decidedly the Anglo-Norman period.
