As I get into the last few holes in my round, I start chunking and thinning. Your live view helped me understand where that is likely coming from....getting a little tired and my body gets lazy and not getting good impact.

Hey Todd, I used to push my L hip out past my ankle when trying to shift my weight and rotate on the downswing (I SUFFER from early extension, club too steep on downswing, and dead hips at impact not rotating through) creating way too much R side bend while also hanging back too much. I’ve gotten the lead hip to not move out past the lead ankle now, though I still haven’t been able to fix the early extension issues. I’m not turning through OR shifting my weight correctly and the Live View drill with the two lines (I have a Live View as well) seems like it could help but I’m reluctant to try it for fear that purposely trying to bump or push that Lead hip past that red line will get me back into getting it too get outside the ankle putting me back at square one! How do I do this drill and NOT fall back into my old ways of pushing too far out with the hips? Thanks! US GOLF TV is one of my FAVORITE golf instructional YouTube channels!

The last comment about pro’s getting their hands in front of the “red line”...some golf instructors emphasize “over exaggerating” a move to instill the swing change. What we “feel” vs. “actual” swing position can be deceiving unless we actually see it in a mirror or video playback.

As usual great tips easy to follow. With the forward shaft lean I'm always scared i shank the ball. Why would that be.

Watched the video again and have a you look at the top of the ball, the back of the ball or the ground behind the ball?

How do I "take from the range to the course". I hit a lot of great shots (particularly irons) on the range, then mess them up on the course. How do I stay loose when under the pressure of a competitive round?

I have found it very difficult to have the lag at impact. I have been told that at the start of my down swing the club should move with me and still be upright until just at impact that's when the release should happen so I'm not casting the club. It seems to be very difficult.
