Non-Stop Adrenaline Rush || Ys IX Review

Ys IX Monstrum Nox follows Adol on another new Adventure. He makes his way to the prison city of Balduq where he finds himself in trouble yet again! Falcom is one of my favorite developers so I was really looking forward to this. Here's my review on the game.

I like the fact that a developer like that can make a game that's not as high definition as a lot of the things out there but focuses the effort on story and gameplay. I just recently picked up Origins and Ys 6 on sale and I'm having a great time.

Ys 3 was the first game I played in the series and was hooked ever since.

I just finished Ys 8 on Switch and I loved it so much. The gameplay was addictive and the story was pretty good also. Easily the best Ys game in my opinion. It was the only game that I regretted playing on the Switch lol. Not because of the performance or the graphics (which I find them fine) but because the Switch version doesn't have Trophies/ Achievements and I almost did %100 that game. I'll get Ys 9 after watching your review and playing the demo. I think it's going to be the first JRPG that I'll aim to platinum.

I just finished Ys IX last night on the hard difficulty and also my first time playing the game and I must say I agree with this review I really enjoyed it a lot didn't think the gameplay would be that fast for an RPG, because its usually just hack and slash or turn based and this game here alone made me feel like my controller was on fire with all the dodging lolol

Ys IX is easily the most divisive game in the series.
Some people love, others thinks is a major step back from Ys VIII
