Double Wear is my OG! My fave....ever! Hands down THE best, for my skin. I do the same as you...I have so many foundations but I’ll ALWAYS have Double Wear! My shade is Cinnamon.

It looks amazing! DW has a special place in my heart because it got me through some tough years of chronic acne. It provided coverage without looking cakey and it stayed on all day despite my super oily skin. I have repurchased it several times. BTW for those with drier skin, try a very thin layer over a luminous primer. My shade is Rattan which corresponds to MAC NC30. My acne is gone now and I rarely wear full coverage foundation anymore but I do like to keep Double Wear on hand. :)

this is such an og foundation. i can't think of anyone i know that uses cosmetics that hasn't tried this. it's a shame estee lauder has such an "old lady" image attached to it, cause this product is great!


i know you already did a review on la mer, but has it still held up over the years or has better foundations come out? i'm hesitating on buying it in case there might have been something better to try.

I am DRY and I've stayed away from this one for so long. I've always heard decent things from people but never saw it perform well. Working in makeup retail a few years ago, I felt like some people who wore this just caked it on so it looked like an old building's paint chipping away by the end of the day; not appealing to me. I normally love a more natural or luminous finish, but DAMN IT! You make this look so good! Also, would love a review on some of the Tom Ford foundations (traceless stick or shade & illuminate).
