What I like about Joe Rogan is that he doesn't accept unclear and unsatisfying answers, he digs deep to get the real answer, that's why this podcast is very important

'Who told you, you are not already in heaven and making a mess out of it?' is the best quote I've heard in a while

This is why this podcast is the best. You’ll never see discussion like this on those stupid late night shows or morning shows

"Who already told you you're not in heaven and making a mess out of it" damn, that hit hard

I really appreciate and admire how Joe respectfully challenges him on his points of view. It was genuine and not in such a way to make the guru look bad. These are the kind of discussions we need to have as a society.

"Who told you, you ain't allready in heaven an you are making a mess out of it?" That literally gave me chills the more i thought about it, realising that I am wasting this heaven by burying my head in drugs an alcohol to feel better 😞

My grandfather told me this all the time. In much simpler words, you and you alone are responsible for your happiness. You choose he be happy or sad. Even when someone makes you mad you are choosing to allow there actions to make you feel that way.
I thought he was crazy but I realized he was correct and it's changed my life.

Last year, I met Sadhguru through this video, which means that this video changed my life. Thank you, Joe.

“How do you know you’re not in heaven making a mess of it”. Brilliant

He named some of the tools: conscious response to life, sitting quietly (meditation) how to sit, how to breathe, how to manage yourself.

Sadguru is pioneer of modern renaissance, he is bringing back thousands years old hindu philosophies with scientific approach. Kudos

As someone that dosnt believe in a god or anything him saying “who said we’re not in heaven already and we’re making a mess of it”. Really hit something in my head

I just finished listening the entire podcast on Spotify.. I came here because I wanna say something somewhere. I’ve been listening to both for so long and always enjoyed it but this podcast literally gave me goosebumps. It starts really “light” talking about a universal concern and ends in a way that I’d never expected. There is no better interviewer than Joe out there man honestly…

I love the amount of empathy, and compassion Joe Rogan has for the younger generation. The angle he takes in trying understanding why people may think the way they do, is very heart warming.

I’ve followed sadhguru for many years. Love him and often my discernment says no… still- loved this conversation in a big way

I have been doing Sadhgurus practice for almost 3 years. I am a natural skeptic, with a logical mindset, having worked as an engineer for almost 5 years, I am 31 years old. I have done the inner engineering meditation called shambhavi once a day without fail for almost 3 years. And I have also done the yoga routine for over 2 years (8 months daily initially starting at 5am daily without fail, then 4 times a week without skipping a week, even when I was sick).

I understand what Sadhgurus means when you transition from compulsion to consciousness. It is nothing mystical, it has improved my life significantly, however I still have a long way to go, so I will continue for many years to come.

My advice is to be skeptical, but if you wish to invest yourself into something to see what happens do it totally. The only reason I have been doing well is because I wake up before 5am every day and have a do or die mentality.

I felt really sick this morning, bad cold, had very little sleep, I just did my session at 5am, and I actually feel significantly better. Any time I get sick, after I do it, I feel 40-60% better.

Peace

This is why Joe’s podcast is the greatest by far. The diversity of people, wisdom and perspectives, along with Joe’s humbleness for honest truth makes for a great experience for the listeners.

Live simply, focus on your breath, what goes in your body, what you're paying attention to, moving your body in a simple way... that will make you happier.

He's saying meditation is the most direct connection, tooi, to your higher self which is love, instead of having knee jerk reactions to things and adding energy to something you have no control over. Thank you. From Canada
