Three seaside restaurants to try near Stockholm

THREE SEASIDE SPOTS TO TRY NEAR STOCKHOLM 🌊
Here are three more spots to visit for seaside dining around Stockholm, these three are spread out in the archipelago and they can all be combined with various activities for a summer day trip.
1. Bistro Björkvik – Ingarö
At the very eastern tip of Ingarö, an island reachable with a 40-minute bus ride from Slussen in Stockholm, you’ll find this cozy, seasonally open restaurant with beautiful archipelago views. The food is absolutely delicious. We had toast Skagen and fish & chips. The cocktails were a bit underwhelming and didn’t really match the descriptions but the staff was very service-minded and the vibe at their outdoor section is very relaxing. I’d definitely come back and this spot is easily combined with a trip to Björnö Naturreservat or a beach day.

2. Vita grindarna – Djurö
This restaurant is perched on a hilltop with dramatic views of the sea, unique décor and delectable dishes from sea and land. It is right next to a beach, which is perfect for a beautiful day. The menu changes quite frequently here but we got veal schnitzel with fried potatoes, red wine sauce and garlic butter. We also got necked trout fillet with potatoes, velouté and asparagus.

3. Bonden & Burgaren – Väddö
One of the best burger spots I’ve tried so far this year. It’s in a casual seaside setting, very kid-friendly and it’s right next to one of my favorite ice cream spots (Bondens Glasskalas). The smash burgers are made from local ingredients, the bread is from a local baker, and the chefs combine this into a delicious burger that needs to be experienced. 🍔
