I just got one this week, and it is definitely a solid beast. Will be replacing the 5 gallon plastic can I got at an Ace Hardware while I was camping in Montana this summer. For me it will be used to refuel a Honda generator on those cloudy days when my solar on my 2016 lance camper can't recharge the house batteries.

You shouldn’t have put water in it, if you read Wavien site it says not too. The coating is water soluble so it’s going to start coming off, allowing your can to rust.

Also it says not to put water inside its bad for the anti corrosion finish. They have cheaper plastic cans half the price for water.

when pouring does the pin fit in that notch at the end of the not in use nozzle mount?

Spout Gasket is thinner than the Jerry Can gasket.

The cans are definitely worth it. The spouts…NO. And I mean even the “good” ones. I have six cans. Use a harbor freight hand pump and save yourself a mess, but the cans are LEGIT.

$90 is quite expensive. These Wavian cans are about £32 here.
