Thanks so much for posting, it's exactly what I need as I've forgotten how to do this and my new boss wants me to create a new title block and border. Please, on your next tutorial, or maybe edit this one, you need to be more detailed. For example, you left out the part where the "Convert to a block" option needed to be selected. If I was new at AutoCAD, and I happen to have the "Retain" or the "Delete" option selected instead of "Convert to block" I would be confused as to why my drawing was not acting like yours.

If i have door blocks of different sizes of doors, and want to add the door mark inside the block, the text is often mirrored or rotated due to orientation of door. Is there anyway to lock the text position inside individual door blocks using attributes inside block?

Please, why do we enter the Refedit command, select the block the say OK? What is that for?

Also, in the Reference Edit manager, it would be helpful if you had talked about "Automatically select all nested objects" and "Prompt to select nested objects". I do not have a good grasp of what these mean.

You don't have to delete the block after editing the block
Simply type "attsync" and the block will update to the latest version for all blocks with the same name in the file

How to add an info on existing attribute. For Eg. you have to mention date to your this attribute created in the video. How to do that? I clicked on Manage attribute, it gives me an option to edit but not add.
