Without the ability to persuade others, a leader just isn't going to be able to lead. Explore how historical greats like Franklin Delano Roosevelt and Canada's William Lyon Mackenzie King learned to bend others to their will.

Renowned historian Margaret MacMillan steps away from the lectern and pops up onscreen as her recent CBC Massey Lectures, and her book "History's People," are transformed into "The Art of Leading." Having talk to an individual who served as a sapper in Holland during WW2. The man went directly point of conscription in Canada during the war. Anger, and bitterness literally red in the face instantly louder about the sense of abandonment by
the government of Canada. This adds little to this series dialogue, only that this is CBC thing and this is what I have witnessed.
