Hi! I'm Taylor Calmus, a Colorado-based actor/comedian. I started Dude Dad© two weeks before my son Theo was born as a way to stay creative while learning to be a father. My wife Heidi and I now have 3 kids and over 300+ videos. My purpose for the channel is to entertain, enlighten and inspire.

I have an amazing "fourth of July" dog story. Years ago, a friend's dog was so frightened by the sound of fireworks that she broke out of her yard and ran away, which was devastating [to us, too]. Weeks went by, and then months...and finally when we had all begrudgingly given up hope, two months later, she was spotted living underneath someone's porch, two towns away!!! Talk about miracles! Needless to say, there was a very happy, tearful reunion the day she came home!

No. 2 😂 We went to our new neighbors house for fireworks (just moved to the state). He literally drunk shouted “Happy birthday ‘Merica!!!!” after each firework. 😂
