Finally, someone decided to write and direct an innovative story about werewolves. It even has a connection with the beast of Gevaudan, from the classic movie "Le pact des loups". Suggestion: watch both. The cursed is a masterpiece 🙌

it's good. finely crafted in manner similar to THE WITCH. essentially an arthouse werewolf tale. Boyd Holbrook is a really good actor. they all are in this.

What amazing acting. This isn't the greatest movie of all time, but man... what phenomenal acting. I felt like I was in the late 19th and early 20th century with them. After Yelliwstone I was skeptical about Kelly Reilly being able to act like a 19th century mother, but she pulled this off beautifully. I highly recommend this movie.

Y'know why Hammer horror movies are timeless? 'cause they did the atmosphere right and did not depend of the creatures going WHOOOSH to do another boring jumpscare. Also, can this movie make up its mind? So is it werewolves, the Babadook, some scarecrow mummy, or the plants themselves that's haunting them? And gotta say, silver dentures are a really really unpractical way to hunt werewolves.
