Don’t let the generic name fool you! Saw this at Sundance and it was an incredible reimagining of werewolves. The original name was Eight for Silver which is a God Tier name in comparison.

Watched it a few days ago. And wow . . . what a well-executed, polished, satisfying film. THIS is how you do low-budget horror but make it feel grand and look much more expensive. Strong script, artful direction, riveting performances, genuine suspense, and a resonant emotional core that makes you actually CARE what’s happening on screen. Fantastic interpretation of a “werewolf” movie without actually being one.

I see so much empty, pointless trash in the horror genre these days that catching something like this feels like finding a little treasure. I really enjoyed this movie.

This movie was INCREDIBLE!!!! It grabs you and won’t let go and the gut punch at the end is well earned. I love Boyd Holbrook and this movie is just fantastic!! Worth the 20 bucks !!!!

Saw it over the weekend. I'm a horror buff, it was pretty badass. Done really well. Gypsies, Curses, & Werewolves....can't go wrong there!

Its not a traditional werewolf movie but it gets many things right where most fails.
It has good atmosphere, good pacing and decent light effects.
I would love to see similar horrors in 2022

Just finished it. What a great movie. The fact they tied in The Beast of Gévaudan makes this movie that much better. This is how you do horror.

people, it says “of the year” because it came out like last year sometime at film festivals under a different name. These reviews are probably from 2021. It has pretty *good early reviews and it looks somewhat interesting and I haven’t seen a werewolf movie in awhile so i’ll definitely be watching this.

Loved the tribute to "An American Werewolf In London" during the dialog. Almost a stand up and applaud moment, after you've finished laughing.

The film reminds me a lot of the atmosphere of "The VVitch" . From this trailer it looks very interesting, hopefully good.

Seen this last night with my mom and even though I guessed some of the parts it still kept me interested. Most definitely a watch!
