Probably there is one mistake which is better to fix: when you create a CloudFront you don't need to check "Redirect HTTP to HTTPS" you need to check "HTTP and HTTPS", in this case there will not be an excess redirection. Now it is like HTTP -> HTTPS -> your new domain. But if you don't check it it will be HTTP -> Your new domain. Because in S3 it directs always to HTTPS. If I am wrong please let me know.

Hi problem, i already have a lot of email of the domain, if i create a certificate like you said it will rebuild the dns part and delete them right ?

if i have the domain from another provider, do i have to update the record myself for it to propagate of i just have to wait. If i have to update the records myself, what are the records to update on my domain name.

I'm following your instructions, but it's taking forever for the certificate to validate after creating the DNS records in Route 53. How long does it normally take?
