Things I WISH I had asked in my Rural Family Medicine Interview
Показать описание
Once you get the residency interview to the program that you want to go to, you HAVE TO come up with questions. It is always important to prepare for an interview and a key aspect of that is coming up with intelligent questions. Having a candidate that does not have any questions for interviewers comes off to be slightly (not always of course) to be indicative of a lack of interest. Asking generic questions shows that you at least put in the bare minimum amount of work necessary to prepare for the interview. If you really want to wow a program, make sure you try to ask questions that are genuine and thought-provoking. In this video, I go through a few things that I think I would have asked in my rural family medicine interviews. Asking these key questions would help an interviewee have a better idea of what to expect from living in this small town. Because this video is specifically geared towards rural program, it has very rural-specific questions. I can make another video on questions to ask non-rural programs as well if you're interested!
