Such a blessing. You explained woman’s need to not be completely silent in church in exactly the way I needed to hear and now I feel equipped to more fully honor our God. Blessings!

I think you touched on a lot of topics I think most folks would find a bit off about "churches" these days. The sharing of meals, the fact that tithes are an old testament commandment. etc. God Bless

I’d love that kind of communion tradition. Our church does it once a month. I’m glad you guys do that.

Alana thank you so much. I should have clicked the bell icon as I just now found this video. I am blessed by how far you have come since you left the Calvinite Church! Go girl, go! We have taken the first step by meeting and planning a House Church.
Truth in love

A wise man will definitely listen to his wife and her spiritual gifts

I always wondered how you did this and your explanation is just how imagined. Thanks for sharing with us, I understand how this can be something you want to keep private after all the Calvinism fallout, but you always show how at peace you are and I think that is so admirable. ❤🙏

Another great video Alana, very peaceful. Many great church movements began in home study/worship. And many of those, now, large churches often wish for the 'old days'. They all have their place and and meet the needs of the Body of Christ. There is a trade-off for sure. (Not everybody likes fast music). But God wants to deal with us al on a personal, intimate level... To me, that's the point of our worship and his desire for relationship with each of us.
18:20 Agree regarding Tithing. It's only mentioned twice in the NT. Once when Jesus reprimanded the Pharisees while 'all' were still under the law (including Jesus) and there he identified it with the 'Law" in saying they should BUT he accuses them of leaving the 'weightier measures' of the 'Law' undone. The way so many teach tithing from Malachi what could be more weightier than 'stealing from God' .... a thief can't enter heaven🤔 ...no grace there IMO.
The disciples even held a 'conference' about what to do with a man's... well you know... 🤭 If Tithing were NT you'd think it would be addressed more carefully but it's never mentioned as such. ... only Giving.
The only other place it's mentioned in the NT is Hebrews 7 in an historical context regarding Abraham and Melchizedek. And Abraham gave away 10% of what didn't even belong to him in front of the King who owned it. There is no reference to Abraham ever tithing again. As detailed in the Law and it was a financial system to support their theocratic Kingdom according to the Law of Moses. Jacob's promise to give God 10% was essentially putting God in his will if he had a good life and died well after his 'journey'. Jacob was a 'deal maker' by nature.🤷🏻‍♂
Pastors and Denominations have used it to manipulate, control, shame, and condemn, people into financial support. It's odd how that most denominations march in lock-step on that issue more than any other doctrine.... (always follow the money)🤠

We’ve met in homes for many years and we still love it! We receive so much encouragement and feel so fed when we leave! ❤

I have desired a home church for so long! My husband and I are a part of a home Bible study outside of the church we all go to but I unfortunately don’t feel confident in the man that leads it. Still has to grow a lot in knowledge and character. So as of now we stay committed to our local church until God opens a door. Oh how I would love to have a sister like yourself to fellowship with and grow with! It’s difficult to meet woman who love Gods word and discussion like yourself. I find myself talking about more secular things when I’m around sisters/friends at my church. Not edifying at all. Just being still and letting God use me until he makes a home church available ❤

Thank you so much for sharing your home church process. My husband and I have seriously considered starting a home church, and this is really helpful!

I love how you said that everyone gets to use their gifts … that reminds me of 1 Corinthians 12:7.

This is amazing…thank you for sharing. This approach is much less intimidating than the though of ‘joining’ an established church!

There are tons of churches who livestream services. Although we have an amazing church we have 6 kids and often if they are sick we livestream a service at home. It’s really a blessing to have so many options and all options are okay as long as you are serving and loving the Lord ❤

We are hoping to join up with a Pauline Mid-Acts Dispensational house church in our area. I love your videos & thank you for sharing so much of your beautiful life.

That was fun...My wife and I are led to a large church which tries to be small with bible studies in various houses, which will be helpful in times ahead.

I absolutely agree with what you said about the women in Corinthians! ❤

I wish we could do this!! Sounds amazing! I always read Corinthians and point out that there’s more than one speaking with a teaching and also that gifts are supposed to be used too.. but we go to a Calvinist cessationist church..
I really struggle there because the constant Calvinism almost every Sunday from the pulpit. They teach that the gifts have ceased.. it’s depressing.

Women are supposed to pray and prophecy!! That’s why you cover your head! But! Women can’t be crazy and take over teaching and exercise authority over a man (church discipline?).

Love this video :)

Thank you for going into the tithing/giving. I think a lot of people don’t fully understand it.
