Mama bird can't sleep

For the past three days, it's been like this all night...
Mama bird (Helen) hasn't been getting much sleep at all. The (7!) baby titmice are about a week old now, and starting to get dark stripes for feathers down their backs and on their winglets (all but the two most recently hatched.) Sometimes I can see their little mohawks. All day, Mom and Dad birds go in and out, feeding and carrying out diaper-poop sacks. At night, Mom's in the nest, but the babies move around so much that every few minutes she has to move, and she passes much of the night perched up on the side of the nest. She comes down for a minute or two, gives them some turns, sits over them for a few minutes, and again moves back off, to what looks like not a very restful spot on the edge. And repeat. Seven sharp beaks and wriggling squirming kiddos... Crazy.
