That’s awesome! How well does it do brain scans. I have had over 30 MRIs Crampton machines. Some doctors told me I can’t have an open MRI machine as they don’t take good enough images. Is that true?

I needed THIS machine today!!! 😭 I went to “OPEN” MRI of Asheville but it wasn’t an open mri it was the same closed coffin as usual and I had to go all the way not half way because I needed brain and cervical spine! So a good 25 min or longer in that he’ll tube! I panicked when I first went in and had to come out. I was dizzy also so it made the confinement and cage on my face even worst cuz I couldn’t find a reference point for my eyes or ears to focus on to help with the vertigo. If you’ve ever been dizzy in the dark then u know what I mean! if that makes sense! Anyways I forced myself mind over matter but when I came out I was so dizzy and scared and it took a while to get better. Sounds so dramatic but I sobbed in my car afterwards cuz I had such bad panic attack over the whole thing! Can’t imagine how a little child might feel having to do that and alone in the room! so imo This open mri machine should always be used where a loved one can sit there with you and you can see a little more!
