So Gaahl! He's been with so many bands at this point! Black metal CLASSICS in the underground! Gorgoroth, God Seed, Wardruna, Gaahlskagg, Trelldom and now Gaahls Wyrd!
It's a lightning fast black metal record with a lot of flavor and dimension to it. Gaahl and his bandmates incorporate interesting, experimental ideas into an already cripplingly vicious sound.
It's thunderous, loud, abrasive, but beautiful in a haunting way in its own right.
Gaahl has always been a major speaker for true Norwegian black metal. He wants it to be raw, blunt, and ferocious. This is no different. Only this time, there's a lot more spice added into the cauldron of misery.
