FINALLY someone points this out. It rubs me the wrong way that every spider person (even ps4, spectacular, and the 1960s cartoon) is totally chill with killing miles’ dad

Oh Damn maybe that's the whole reason why we see the live action Peters in the records but not in person.

I feel like the other spider men didn’t fully understand the situation, once Miles actually gets his voice out there we see many other spider men switch to his side like obviously Gwen, Peter B, and Hobie but also that girl who let him go through the dimension teleporter by not resetting it.
We also saw how 2099 reacted when Peter B. disagreed with him, and how he sends thousands of spider men after Miles so no one wanted to go against him until Miles.
Though I also agree with what you are saying because 99% of spider men wouldn’t stand for this in the first place, they probably just didn’t know there was another option (though even miles doesn’t know of an other either so I can’t wait to see how it plays out)

This is really my only main gripe with the movie, out of all the spider people Miguel recruited, Miles was the only spider-man that wasn’t okay with letting his father die? Spectacular Spider-Man had a cameo in this movie, and he said this in the first episode of spectacular Spider-Man

“I know one things for sure *I CAN’T LET HARRY LOSE HIS FATHER THE WAY I LOST UNCLE BEN* “
I love this movie but they really disrespected one of the most iconic animated Spider-Man

I WAS WONDERING THE SAME THING AFTER SEEING IT TODAY. How are there that many spider people and not one decided to speak up

One major thing to bring up about this is that we have seen Miguel with Madame Web in into the spider verse but in across the spider verse she is missing. Madame web is usually the one who interferes with problems with the multivurse. It's possible that after his universe was destroyed he created his own group like a splinter cell of some kind to deal with this and bring those who agree with his own or fuel his own statement much to the most of the spidermens disagreement of his view because some of the other spiders don't seem to be in the best mental state themselves spiders.

Because he's the head of this organization, so it makes sense everyone agrees with him! It all makes sense now, I was so annoyed the entire time because of this. So glad you put this video out.

That’s another reason I really like this movie. When know some variants ARE NOT going for that shit and the movies show you they EXIST. If we had more than handful of other variants that would side with Miles it would just pad the run time fleshing out another conflict. Movie coulda been three hours fr and I’m always down for Spider-Men throwing hands with each other, but who knows when it woulda actually came out.

I Hated Miguel, and there's no way Spiderman would allow his logic . In the end, he manipulated everyone to agree with him and, if not, use brute force to get his way.

I bet Toei Spiderman would be aiming his gun at Miguel and his cult.

Yeah i like miguel and i know hes trying to keep the multiverse intact but no peter would stand by him threating to kill a kid, at least none of the ones that are still heroes.

There's also the fact that Miguel very clearly has no idea how the canon actually works and is basically just winging it off circumstantial evidence. Before we even see Miles meet Miguel the canon has technically already been disrupted in major ways, several times. Hell, in some of those instances they were directly altered by Miguel, himself.
For example, Miguel showing up to help Gwen stop the vulture is basically him adding an anomaly on top of the already existing anomaly that is the vulture being there. Miguel allows Gwen to come with him to the spider society and in doing so denies the entire world of Spider Woman for several months, which by all rights should be canon breaking. Who knows what events should have taken place or been prevented due to Spider Woman's presence that just got disrupted because he showed up and screwed with things. Yet, when Gwen returns, her universe is perfectly fine. Gwen alone is proof that Miguel is talking out of his ass. Hell, Miguel is directly and indirectly influencing hundreds if not thousands of spider people on the daily to make or refrain from making decisions (whether consciously or not) that may have serious repercussions in their own universes. In the millions of choices that can be occurring at any time which are being directly altered by Miguel's influence, all of those Spider peoples' worlds should have absolutely collapsed by now.
Miguel even indirectly shows us that he's not even sure about the canon actually even being a real thing when Gwen questions him on it and he avoids her question by getting aggressive.
The whole point is that Miguel is blatantly wrong but has surrounded himself with an echo chamber of spider people who agree with him for one reason or another.
Miles calls him on his bullshit immediately because he sees through Miguel, and so he decides to do what Spiderman would do, rather than letting Miguel bully him into letting anyone die.

In the defence of the spidermen who chased miles, just because they did so doesnt mean theyre cool with mile's dad getting killed, obviously some would but a lot wouldnt, its not a thing of morals, its just a thing of following orders, they were never told the specifics

An alarming amount of people don't see that risking the entire multiverse is kind of just

Inherently wrong? Like risking Countless lives you can't see for the few you can is like... Wild logic
