I would like more videos on this subject and I wasn't aware "art" even existed until this popped up in my suggestions. Thanks for sharing

how do you do that in RawTherapee 5.11? It seems that the interface is a little different now....

Thanks a lot for this great tutorial on ART.
It is great to watch some tutorials both on ART and RawTherapee since they are little exposed and "documented" on YouTube.

Currently, most open source videos on YouTube regard darktable which is a very powerful software and its fame is well deserved for sure

This is timely, Shane. I just uploaded a video in which I tried to use the vectorscopes to get good skin tones. Without much success, I'm afraid. I'll look at yours a little more in depth to see what I can improve.

Great tutorial Shane. I am working with Darktable at the moment but don't know which program I like the most. Both has pros and cons. Rawtherapee work is very fast and structured and Darktable has a lot of extra features. What is your opinion about those wonderfull applications

hi Shane ... actually the biggest issue with your editing here is that you're using an auto-matched tone curve (some auto matched processing profile) .. RT's default profiles are literally making terrible disservice and starting to process the photo when they are applied is like shooting yourself to the knee and go for run competition ... I rather suggest you to start with neutral profile and use an exposure tab's exposure/contrast/saturation slider to make it to the starting point and then start applying curves from neutral level ... I see now that ART is perhaps different in this but basically this is the huge misconception and bad concept of RT (for example compared to DT which does it completely different)
