‘Deeply worrying’: China launches ‘intimidating’ military exercises in Taiwan

China’s “wolf warrior diplomacy” is deeply worrying, says Sky News host Chris Kenny.

“Especially given how it has been backed up around Taiwan by provocative and intimidating military exercises, that carry great risks should anything go wrong, or anyone overstep the mark,” Mr Kenny said.

Mr Kenny said the “aggressive displays of lethal military might” were triggered by US politician Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan.

Let's not forget Australia and America were in the south China sea playing war games/military maneuvers only a few days ago, is that provocative to China? I also note China did not start militarising islands/atolls until after Obama announced the pivot towards the Pacific, their action could be seen as a direct response to the pivot. The world has seen the outcomes of America's foreign policy in poking the bear now they want to prod the dragon. Unfortunately Australia will get caught up with the fall out from any conflicts in the Pacific.
