In 2021, Google announced that it would replace Advertising ID on mobile devices and restrict the use of third-party cookies in its Chrome browser.

That's a big deal - Android has over 85% of the global mobile OS market and cookies are the fuel that keeps the Google Ads machine going.

Google recently announced that Topics will replace these tracking methods.
