LG TV Hidden Secret Service Menu/Mode with your Smartphone

Enter service menu/mode on LG TV with your smartphone IR blaster. Enter Password 0413 or 0000.
Be very careful while playing with these service menus, wrong value could brick your TV.
Don''t change any of the settings if you don't know what they do.
The menu items can be selected with the “CURSOR UP/DOWN” key
With the “CURSOR LEFT/RIGHT” keys, it is possible to:
- (De) activate the selected menu item.
- (De) activate the selected sub menu.
With the “OK” key, it is possible to activate the selected action.

downloaded the app and it worked. my LG TV was stuck in headphone mode. got in the secret menu and fixed it.

This app no longer offers infrared commands, it only connects over wifi to control the tv and the wifi remote does not have the service menu options.

Does anyone have a plain English explanation of what all of these settings actually DO? I have the service remote so can easily get into the menus, but don't want to risk messing up my TV just playing around with them.

I have an LG 37LH250H and can only see the music or pics options when viewing a usb stick. I cannot play movies.
I can access the Installer Menu but I believe that is different to the Service Menu that you refer to above. Apparently, my android phone does not have IR. So how can I access the right menu to change the settings?

There is any chance to set a application to start up after I turn on the TV? I use the IPTV as my daily "channel" but I have to go to my applications, then select the iptv then launch it. I would like to launch the IPTV after I turn on my LG 42LB580V. Thanks

Please suggest some mobile phone models now available in market which has working IR blaster. As S4 is very outdated model. Any new model of samsung or any other phone which able to run this app.
