Beyond the New Frontier: Climate Change Innovation

Dr. Donald Sadoway and his team at MIT and Ambri, Inc. have developed liquid metal battery which can store energy at an industrial level safer and cheaper than today's lithium-ion batteries. The future of this technology will allow solar and wind farms store their energy when the sun isn't shining or the wind isn't blowing making it possible for renewable resources to provide even more power for our clean energy future.
