Is anyone else alarmed by the timelines these people are using in the first episode of the video? They speak in decades which is way less than nanoseconds in the geological timeline of the Earth and this is very concerning. Regardless, I came here to learn about Venus.

So ok, I live with the ocean right out my front door. The house has been in my family since the 70s. The ocean is still in the same damn spot that it was in 1992 when my dad renovated the place. It's the Atlantic in case that matters. I hear a few things in this video that while probably true don't include everything you'd want to know. Like glacial snow and ice melt taking with it a lot of the fresh water. But if it was water humanity had access to then it wouldn't be frozen, and if we're going by that metric then most of the world's fresh water is at the south pole. Antarctica having miles deep ice sheets is why earth isn't in jungle mode like when the dinosaurs were around. And while yes some big ass pieces of ice have broken from the S poles northern shelf, the opposite side is getting bigger. This is why people hear climate change and want to tell you to have a coke and a smile and shut the fuck up. If all the facts aren't presented or if it seems like your hiding or cherry picking info then you lose the trust of the minds you need to make any changes. The vast majority of people do not care about climate change and after the debacle of covid if you utter the words "trust the science" or trust me im an expert you immediately lose credibility. Stop with the politics, the doom and gloom apocalypse now bullshit and be straight with people otherwise they'll fight you every step of the way
