Calculate Dilution Factor on Finger Tips

Hi Friends,
Through this video, I tried to elaborate simple math applied in the calculation of Dilution Factor and its specific examples used in routine analysis in the laboratory.

To calculate the analyte/drug concentration in the samples, there must be requirement to make samples should be properly diluted prior to analysis. In particular, if analysis is carried out using instrumental method which may use photometer, spectro-photometer or sophisticated instrument like HPLC, there is always need to make serial dilutions in the sample so that concentration of analyte will be in the working range and can be estimated through these instruments.
