I would really like a separate episode on the SCO. It seems so contradictory to have China, Russia, Pakistan and India in one alliance.

As a Canadian, I was surprised to find that you missed out on NORAD, the North American Aerospace Defense Command treaty between Canada and the US. This agreement dates back to the late 1950s and is still in force.

I'm Swedish, and here in Sweden we basically cooperate with those around us in the nordics and the baltics, that would be: Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. You could also count the Swedish - British cooperation, the two have been "allies" for some time. Lastly, Sweden and Germany also work together.

Little known: while there is not any official specific treaty, Spain and France have the obligation to defend Andorra from external threats (for obvious reasons), as Switzerland is bound to defend Liechtenstein.

You forgot to mention the Treaty of Algeron, which was a peace treaty signed between the United Federation of Planets and the Romulan Star Empire in 2311, which was not a mutual defence agreement but basically a non aggression treaty and banned the Federation to do research into or use of any cloaking device.

You missed an importance alliance, NORAD. Their biggest role is to track Santa Claus over Xmas, making sure he doesn't secretly carpet bomb North America, instead of dropping off presents.

My girlfriend's family is from Paraguay so she knows a lot about the country. The other day she told me that Paraguay and Taiwan have close relations, in fact Paraguay is one of the few countries that recognize Taiwan.
