We lost power in Omaha since last Wednesday and this Champion generator has kept our fridge and window AC running for 4 days now with no issues 🎉🎉 I strongly recommend this product to keep family and home safe.

I have been through 2 hurricanes with this equipment, and it has not failed. My only observation is that it does not have a fuel gauge to measure the duration of the generadol. It is very good, it is noisy but less noisy than the others I have. It is a good investment.

I had never owned a generator until September 24, 2024. I bought the 100592V in anticipation of a hurricane that at that time was likely going to hit us head on. I got the generator home, assembled it according to the instructions provided. It would not start. Had plenty of gas and oil, would not fire at all. Called customer service after about 200 pulls on the cord and a 47 minute waiting time, went through the instructions given to no avail. I was told to do everything from spray starting fluid into the carburetor to trace a black wire back to the power module and unplug it and then try it. I wasn't able to access a module because of a cluster of wires blocking it. I followed starting instructions to the letter and for the most part it wouldn't start. It finally started the first time and I let it run for an hour, shut it off and couldn't get it to start again. The next day I was able to get it to crank once more and let it run 4 hours. Switched it off, would not start again. Champion has an "emergency technician contact" number. I called it and was told there would be nearly an hour wait. Fortunately for me the hurricane made a turn and did not hit us directly. I drained the oil and gas and took the generator back to the store I bought it from. They gave me a full refund on it. I have never seen a lack of customer service related to a product like I experienced with Champion. The best experience I had in this whole transaction was when the retailer refunded me the full purchase price. I even tried reaching out to Champion on 2 different occasions through an email. They have not responded to either of them. They even emailed me and asked for a review of the product and that process would not work. As it stands at this moment I will never purchase a product made by this company. As indicated by their actions all they want is the sale of the unit and once that happens you are on your own. I read lots of positive reviews for Champion and I congratulate those of you who have a positive experience with them. Unfortunately the unit in the box I opened had an abundance of we don't care where this runs or not. Goodbye Champion.

We bought it last year and never used it. It won't start now. We added gas & checked oil. Do we have to replace the battery? Manual doesn't say anything about this.

Why does it say 7850 starting watts but only have a 26 amp 240 volt breaker? Can a very short surge of 7850 watts trip the 26 amp 240 breaker? 7500 watts surge trip breaker? 7000 watts surge trip the 26 amp breaker?
