These businesses include a manufacturing operation, a Christmas tree farm, real estate investing, a lawn care business, and an online retail store. I demonstrate how I am able to use these ventures to earn a good living without a traditional job.

We have some cool toys and always think outside the box on our little homestead so come along for the ride.

I’ve had the Champion Duel Fuel 9KV for 8 years, kept up maintenance on it, never needed it until Helene. It provided power to home and well for 13 days. Always ran it on propane.

The reason I like the propane future so much, is a propane never goes bad.
You can literally run it, shut it off and leave it for three years …

Had a dual fuel and so far only run it on propane due to fuel concerns but a friend tells me that with stabilizer fuels keep a long time. I'm very impressed with how beautifully the Champion generator starts and runs. Kudos to them.

I bought the Champion open frame 4250w dual fuel inverter after the big freeze Feb ‘21 here in Texas (-2° that year). Used it once after that until this week when temps dipped to 9°. Wasn’t going to get caught w/o some power again. We have a 200gal propane tank (country life) for our grill and indoor fireplace. I put the generator on the back porch, hook it into the gas stub out and it fired right up. Didn’t need it but glad we have an option. Great video.

Good news for who owned this dualfuel 4375 watt. Lets me tell you i just findout today i can run Nature Gas too without any modification. I just hook up 1/2 in flexible gas line from house gas meter with a 1/2 in shut off valve connected to generator, half chook then full run. Run like a champ.

The surging after you shut off the fuel is normal. The carbs on these things hold a lot of fuel so it takes a while to empty the float bowl. They will eventually stop on their own. Sometimes 2 or 3 pulls in a Canadian winter storm when trees down the lines, otherwise easy to start. Good video Brock, I agree that a review should be after using something for a while, not when unboxing it. Real world info is what's appreciated. Great video.

If you're thinking about this generator definitely go and get it. I also got mine from sams club and had it for about 2 years. I only run mine on propane. I didn't want to deal with putting stabil or messing with bad fuel. I use supertech 10w30 full synthetic, and never had an issue with it. It just works. I live currently in Texas, never had a problem with it from cold temps (in the 10s) to high temps (in the 100s). I primarily used mine to run the air conditioning, the fridge and my tv. Never skipped a beat.

I have a Champion Dual Fuel myself and love it at Costco several years ago and it's very dependable.

What a great review, i love that you waited until after some real-world usage to do one. 99% of reviews are just an unboxing video that isn't nearly as helpful.

The fact it started with a single pull after sitting all that time in the elements is great. Thinking about mounting this on my trailer hitch so something that can withstand being in the elements is a must.

Ran mine this week during our power outage in Tampa with hurricane Milton. Worked great!

I have the 9000 watt dual fuel never use gas and no need to worry about bad fuel
Propane does not use the guts of the carborator so it is good even if the carb is gummed up.

Have had one for a few years now, just unboxed it today! Watched your video about the propane hookup first. It actually started on ethanol free gas on the first pull! Will do propane if needed, hopefully not. 😅thanks for the great video.

I have the gas only version and never drain the gas on only use the kill switch. Starts on the first or second pull every time. The only thing I do is make sure to use real gas without ethanol. Best product made.
