George Clooney Admits He 'Screwed' Up Playing Batman

In a new interview for 'Variety,' Clooney sits down with his 'Catch-22' co-star, Christopher Abbott.

he really did do a good job as Batman. He was brought into play a family-friendly Batman. Because parents complained that Tim Burton was making them so dark. The reason why his Batman movie failed was because after the first three Batman films nobody wanted that type of Batman movie. Batman and Robin was like an updated version of the Adam West Batman movie and series. And Tim Burton took a huge leap from that type of Batman. I'm very grateful that George Clooney was a Batman from my childhood and still to my adulthood.
