I'd rather the Pixel photos cooler temperature. It's easier to add warmth in editing. While dialing back that orange is a mess.

In a Nutshell: the #iPhoneX makes everything warmer, more exposed and saturated
#Pixel makes it sharper with more contrast and cool color temperature

The front camera in the Pixel is certainly much better than the iPhone

That portrait selfie shot with your sister from the beginning says it all, machine learning on the Pixel 2 is incredible. Blurred the background, but kept your sister's face in focus. That's something the dual lens hardware can't do without proper software optimization like Google. 👍
