I want to see James Holzhauer vs. Ken Jennings vs. Brad Rutter! That would be an EPIC match.

Ken was funny about the name : Jeopardy James. "No, I'm that guy !"
I would say - that you Both Are. Ken's been so supportive of James.' That's wonderful.
2 great guys !

I was gonna say Ken Jennings is Wayne Gretzky and Holzhauer is Sidney Crosby but Ruth/Aaron is good too.

Such a fan of Ken Jennings. I submitted a trivia question for his weekly emails. While he hasn't used it, he wrote me a very nice, humorous reply and "thank you" for the question.

Rest in Heaven, Alex Trebek. Thank you for 36 years of great memories on Jeopardy!

I can’t wait to see who the new host will be!

Let's not forget Brad Rutter. When he played the rules didn't let him keep returning, and his only loss came when playing Watson and Ken. I would love to see James, Ken and Brad go at it. I would also like to see Nate Scheffy get another shot - if he had gone all in on that one daily double, that would have likely been the end of Holzhauer's run. One thing is for sure, Holzhauer is a freak.

He's only a stone's throw away from surpassing Ken's record 74 game total of cash from 2004, a feat i thought i'd never see happen soon if ever.

James is amazing. He’s had a couple close ones. We will see if he can stay for as long as Jennings did. He has many more days to go. Way more money

What a legend James has been. He’s gone down in the history books for sure. Sad to see him lose, but his sportsmanship was incredible. You could tell he didn’t want to play any longer and gave up the game even though he could’ve won. True gentleman. He obviously chose not to dethrone ken in his last game with Final Jeopardy wager. Jeopardy will never the same. Thank you for the good times James

Here after we've lost Alex, but I really wanted to add to the topic of discussion: one of the best rule changes in any game show, in history, is when Jeopardy eliminated the 5 game limit for returning champions and allowed it to be open ended. You come back for the next game so long as you keep winning. That really opened up the appeal to the show and brought in more viewers. As long as that old rule was in place I could never understand their reasoning. If you won 5 games in a row you were done no matter what. There were a lot of contestants in the 80s and 90s who were unquestionably good enough to continue on long past 5 games, because quite a few hit that limit.

this interview was done several months ago, and he said it would be interesting to see how they do against one another, and jeopardy made it happen and we know the results!
