I bought 100 shares of Royal Bank 14 years ago at $85 per share with a DRIP. I have gone through the 2008 subprime market crash and the covid crash and I currently have 155 shares at $132 per share. In my TSFA that I started in April I have 4 shares of Royal Bank that I bought at $132 per share and I have a capital loss of $2.07. I don't need money from either of these accounts for at least the next 12 years so I won't be selling any of these shares no matter what happens in the short term.

Timely video! I'm in week 5 now and last week was the only green that I've seen. I'm still in the red overall, but quality ETFs and stocks are what I'm buying. If anything, I wish I had more spare funds to buy more stocks right now!

Saw this coming since the beginning of lockdowns....liquidated most shares In sectors I thought would be hit the hardest and reinvested in one's I thought would be more robust. Always always keep up with world news and not just from mainstream media, also look at new tech news.

What would your advice be for a first timer that built a crappy portfolio 6 months ago that went up by 20% and is now down by 20% (primarily due to BTC and ETH), and wants to rebalance? ? I know much more now and actually learnt how many losses I can stomach and how stocks I dont know of cause stress but the quality stocks dont as I know they'll be back up. I am thinking I should hold until they're back up and at the same time buy the dips for the quality stocks I want to own now?

Guidance will be much appreciated!
