At Milton Hershey School, students live in a home with a group of eight to 12 students in the same age range. They are cared for by a married couple. These houseparents play a critical role in each child's support system along with the child's parent/sponsor. On a regular basis, houseparents communicate and team with parents/sponsors to help their children learn, grow, and thrive in a nurturing and safe environment. The relationship between houseparents and parents/sponsors involves mutual respect and love. It's a selfless friendship where everyone works together for the best interests of their kids.

This is literally one of the BEST video shorts that potential parent/sponsors could ever see.  All of us who support the school outside to others always "talk" about this being the kind of relationship that can happen but rarely do we ever get to "see" it.  There are so many valuable, partnering supportive sponsors out there...….let's highlight this kind of thing more!!!!  :-)  BRAVO on this one!
