This is the same question said about almost all QBs... It was like that with T-Law (Trevor Lawrence)... It's like that with Justin Fields... If you just build around them, they will put up the stats. I'm not even a Giants fan but it's like, why get rid of DJ when he started to progress? He even got to post season. Give him more to work with (and keep them healthy which was a big factor of their season) and Daniel will do better. Don't be so quick to write QBs off when they haven't had a chance to prove themselves

The only chance for the Giants to progress and win more games is to keep both guys. They're not that far from being real contenders.

Part of the issue the giants have is that they aren’t just 1 or 2 pieces away from being true contenders. This year was great but we knew going into the season we had one of the easiest schedules in the NFL. The four easiest strength of schedules in football were just the NFC East teams. We have holes on the OLine, need LBs, at least 1 more corner, WRs and QB is still a question bc while was significantly improved this year, he wasn’t one of the top guys in the NFL. He still has room to improve and def could get into that top 10 range but there are no guarantees.

I honestly don't know why this is a question. Jones and Barkley are a BLESSING to the Giants, to Jersey and New York City! What the Giants need is 1 or 2 more offensive lineman and 2 or 3 more wrs

even the franchise tag for daniel jones is insane. i wonder if they would let him walk and find out that that money isn't available for him and get him back on a cheaper deal

I love how non-giants fans are trying to tell people how it is. YOU NEED TO SIGN BOTH OF THEM WHEN THEY WERE YOUR WHOLE OFFENSE. IMAGINE IF DEFENSES STOP STACKING THE BOX, SAQUON WILL PLAY LIKE A HALLF OF FAME RUNNING BACK BECAUSE HE ONLY NEEDS TO BATTLE AGAINST ONE DEFENDER INSTEAD OF 4-5. IF THE GIANTS GET SOME RECIEVERS, GG AND DANIEL JONES CAN ALSO RUN. LITERALLYA PLAYOFF TEAM EVERY YEAR IF THESE TWO ARE SIGNED

Giving Jones a better receiving corps, and improving the run defense and offensive line should be the biggest priorities this offseason.

Ideally yes both of course however as a Giants fan I'm nervous giving Danny Jones this much money and although yes he impressed and proved he can come up big if needed.. he still has a LOT of developing to do bc he isn't always going to be able to win games throwing under 20 times he still has to prove more and show this wasn't a fluke if he wants to be the new face of the Giants.

Unfortunately the QB market is so inflated rn that any competent starting QB can get almost Mahomes money... Ridiculous but it's tough bc if the worst happens we would have to wait another year for a QB prob longer due to very little supply but big demand on QBs, unless Tyrod Taylor brings us to glory lmaooo
