Life Is Beautiful never gets enough credit. I grew up in a rough situation and my Mother used a similar tactic to protect me from reality, sometimes at the cost of her own well-being. Hard not to get emotional watching the film.

Amelie is seriously one of the best feel good movies I've ever seen. It's so sweet and adorable - and she is absolutely the character embodiment of chaotic good, that was the best example of her.

I would recommend "The secret life of Walter Mitty" and "Hector and the Search for Happiness" to anyone in this time, two movies that just showcase the beauty of being alive and warm your heart and fill you with energy :)
